WE HAVE WORKED FOR 3 YEARS TO PRODUCE A GOOD ORIGINAL STYLE CORVAIR FUEL PUMP
C6600R FUEL PUMP
Clarks pumps can be identified by our name on the bottom of the housing. The first 550
arrived in May 2025 and were sold out by early June. We are extremely happy with the
feedback on these pumps. A batch arrived in February 2026 and we have 1,000 more
due Summer 2026.
In 2022, we started with all new tooling and what we felt was the best original pump
design. Our final tests on the new pump was an actual 2000 miles on our 1960 Monza
and 100 hours of run time on an engine on a test stand run at 2500-3000 RPM’s,
equivalent to another 5000+ miles of highway driving. Clarks had special diaphragm
material with internal fibers increased by 150% back to original factory thickness. We
also determined the correct way to assemble the diaphragm and stem assembly, and
into the pump. Our pumps have a 2-year warranty limited to replacement or refund, your
choice. This fuel pump is for automotive use only. 1960-69 use 62-69 rod.

WHY CLARKS HAS NOT SOLD AN ORIGINAL STYLE FUEL PUMP IN OVER 3 YEARS
• We had sold one brand for over 20 years; they became so bad they told us they would
no longer replace or refund for any defective ones! (Averaging 50% failure within 6 months
so we stopped selling them and started working on our own pump.)
• Why so many failing pumps? We have seen wrong length stem, stem not centered which
stresses diaphragm, thin diaphragms/fabrics, no retainer bolt hole or hole located wrong,
and diaphragms not assembled correctly.
