We are offering 2 radios on this page and 2 on page 171A. The chart shows the
major differences. Your original knobs will NOT fit, and we only have 2 styles of
knobs that come with the radios. The "A" Style Knob comes with the 1960-64 and
the "B" Style Knob comes with the 1965-69 radios. (Sometimes, the knobs vary
& may even be black - we have no control over this.) You have to supply a Corvair
face plate trim and an antenna. NOTE: We have had a couple customers comment
that the control buttons and the numbers displayed are a little small (result of fitting
so many options in a small space). Please realize that if you use these radios to fit
in the original space & with the speakers that fit in the space, it will not sound like
a car with 6-10 speakers that were tuned to that particular car & cost 3-4 times
more! The special stereo speaker is designed to fit the original speaker location
and is ordered separately below. This special speaker is the least that you can have
and have the 2 stereo channels. The radios come with additional wire to allow for
non-original speaker locations. Because people have so many ideas where they want
to put stereo speakers, we suggest you get other style speakers locally. Incl. wiring &
instructions. You can add a Bluetooth adaptor to style #6.
1960-64 Notes:
1 – Will also fit 1961-65 FC (Vans).
2 – Radios come with "filler trim" to fit radio to the original face plate.
3 – You will need an original under the dash radio support. If you don't have one
order a USED one CU803 4 lbs. (check availability)

a little long for Corvairs).

Special STEREO SPEAKER – (1) SPEAKER, fits original
location. (Has 2 4" quality stereo speakers). Fits ALL Corvairs & FC (EXCEPT
65-69 with A/C). These are the minimum for stereo. We also include wiring
and instructions for use with stock (non-stereo) Corvair radios. ALL CLARK
stereo speakers come with a 3/8" thick self-adhesive gasket to attach to
the front of the speaker. This not only prevents vibrations but also allows for
better sound (especially on the 1960-64). Note: These sound better than
the original speakers, but do not sound like the systems available in today's
cars. The C10041 gives better sound than C9743.
