KONI SHOCKS
60-69 Cars and 61-65 FC
The correct KONI shocks had not been available for Corvairs for over 20 years, but Clark's now has them for 60-64 cars,
61-65 FC and 65-69 cars. Koni shocks are expensive, but they are also the best shock you can buy for your Corvair.
"Infinitely adjustable" from soft to extremely firm. You can dial in exactly the ride control you want. Cal installed a set

KONI Early
Clark ULTIMATE HEAVY DUTY CAR SPEEDOMETER CABLE
We have taken everything we’ve learned about speedometer cables since 1973 and made what we believe is the BEST SPEEDOMETER CABLE EVER. There have been
2 cables available in the past: (1) original GM, (2) “Old REPRO”. Here’s how they compare (The “REPRO” is what has been on the market since the 1990’s – we’ll still
sell it as a $$ SAVER).
’65–’69
Available ONLY from Clark’s

1965-69 Speedo Cable Notes
1. Our TEFLON sleeve is an E XACT FIT, allows for very low friction with the inner cable. The “Old REPRO” has no liner and inner cable can whip around. The original nylon was
a real problem as it cracked, got melted by the inner cable and had a tendency to “walk” to one end, bunch and bind the inner cable. (Main reasons it was left out of the “Old
REPRO”.)
2. The “Old REPRO” and original cables were simply crimped where the bracket and steel sleeve attached. If not perfect, moisture can get inside the assembly. Clark ULTMATE
CABLE is crimped and mechanically sealed.
3. Middle” mounting bracket was relocated on the “Old REPRO” and our ULTIMATE CABLE because the original location put too much strain on the cable assembly during
turnlng.
4. We install the rubber seal that seals to the back of the spindle so you WON’T FORGET!
5. TESTED! Our prototype cable was tested for the equivalent of 33,000 miles at 65mph, with constant turning of the test equipment to simulate driving movement. NO wear
was evident at the end of the test.
6. WARRANTY – If the ULTIMATE CABLE should fail within 2 years of purchase, we will replace it free of charge when you return the failed one. We cover the cost to ship the new
one to you (in U.S.A. & Canada).
PLEASE NOTE!! It is more and more common for the brass bushing going Into the speedo head to seize.
WHEN INSTALLING the new cable, turn the end of the speedo with your fingers to feel if it is moving smoothly. I suggest a little liquid graphite just to be safe.
IF THE CABLE FAILS: Please check your speedometer. We should not have to replace the cable due to a seized speedometer.
60-64 Car & FC Cables? The same factory makes our new and improved cables for these years. See page 132.
