Stainless Pre-formed Staples: Original size, easier to use than wire. Re-drill the holes (through the rubber seal) with a #53 drill (.007) bigger, but staple goes in easier)

or #54 (.003 bigger than original holes). 1 set of 15 does 1 side, 50 for full engine.

ENGINE SEAL RETAINER SCREWS

1965 Screws: Most were not "top hat" style. These are a good repro (black oxide like the originals), screw and small washer.

Individual Screw C3400C ½ oz. ea.

1966-69 "Top Hat" Screws: These black oxide screws were used to attach the engine rubber seal to the body. Ours are

nearly exact repros, but the built in washer is slightly thinner and they do not have the small letter stamped on the top.

Top Engine Cover Bolts – A MUST Special high strength zinc plated bolt with serrated washer head. These bolts will hold their torque.

Top housing is common oil leak area due to stress and vibration it is subjected to. Regular bolts often loosen.

These have the original style built-in "collar", (just a ﬂat washer under a regular nut is not suggested).

Although heat treated I only suggest using them once. For All Corvairs.
