     If your modulator is more than 10 years old, you are really on borrowed time. The inner reinforced rubber diaphragm is  
     VERY THIN (.017 - .019) and is weakened by hot PG fluid and constant flexing.

Another quality CLARK REBUILD 
John knows all the "secrets". He starts by meticulously cleaning all the parts (using our Ultrasonic 
cleaner) and checking any critical components. He uses all the new parts in our C185AC Kit (page 
135A). (PLUS: a new governor nylon gear, relined low band, modulator valve, PG cable o-ring, trans./diff. 
gasket and REPRO 3 tab drive washer, OVER 50 NEW parts). DOES NOT INCLUDE governor. Use your old 
one. Don't trust your transmission to a local shop that may have never seen a Corvair PG transmission! 
Can go UPS. We "FOAM IN PLACE" in a special heavy duty box. Also great for returning your core (see 
page 135B for photo).
PG CORE!! The Price List shows a refundable core. This is for your complete transmission returned  
to us. We also enclose a note explaining that we'll give you a partial core refund for (just the  
throttle shaft & turbine shaft) OR (just the throttle shaft, turbine shaft & low band) OR you may

you a box & foam to ship it to us safely. You pay shipping to get the box, but other 
than making a plywood box, it's the only safe way to get it to us.
FLOOR MOUNTED PG SHIFT KIT  Now easier to install!
This kit replaces the stock dash-mounted automatic transmission shift mechanism with a floor-mounted mechanism.
This kit is designed so that it can be used in either Early or Late Model Corvair Cars. It can also be used in conjunction with any car manual 
to automatic conversion & even makes it easy to install a Spyder or Corsa dash panel without having to modify the panel. When finished, 
the car can look just like a regular manual transmission car, except for not having a clutch pedal.
NOTE: you have to provide your own choice of shift lever, knob, stock boot & replacement dash panel (early model 
also requires a late model neutral safety switch be used). Stock Corvair parts can be used for these items except 
that a stock shift lever must be modified (easily done at home or by a machine shop). Instructions are also included
