CORVAIR VIDEOS (DVD's)
These are great DVD's for a "first timer'' OR if you wonder if you are
really doing things correctly!
NOTE: These are "NTSC" type DVD's. NOT usable in many foreign countries.
#1 – "THIS OLD 'VAIR" – VOL 1
How to remove carbs., generator, shrouds, and reseal a Corvair engine.
Gerry Martin gives many good general Corvair and safety tips. Approx. 2 hrs.
DVD C7897DV 12 oz.
VOL 2 – ENGINE REMOVAL!
Gerry shows a very detailed removal and installation of an early power train, including side lights on details specific to 1964.
Also clutch and torque converter removal and installation. Although this is specifically for 1960-64 Cars – about 70% would also
apply to 1965-69 Cars. If you have never removed (or correctly removed) a Corvair powertrain, this is GREAT! Approx. 2 hrs.
DVD C8116DV 12 oz.
SET OF DVD'S – Vol 1 & 2 DVD's Only C8117DV 1 lb./set
#2 – DISTRIBUTOR REBUILD
This excellent 74 minute video was done by the Chesapeake Bay Corvair Club. The most informative and "down to earth" information I've ever seen on
distributors in general and the Corvair in particular. The only drawback is that some of the "complete" rebuild necessary on a badly worn distributor may
be beyond the "average" owners ability to easily do. Does help you appreciate a really top quality job such as is done on the rebuild we offer on page
79. DVD C12546 12 oz.
#3 – POWERGLIDE REBUILD VIDEO
By the Chesapeake Bay Corvair Club. Covers rebuilding your Corvair powerglide transmission. A must if you are going to rebuild your first powerglide.
DVD C12547 12 oz.
