Beautiful Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible in exceptional condition with approximately 54,000 miles.
This Corvair has been extensively restored and exceptionally well cared for. It is ready to drive, enjoy, and show.

1966 Corvair Monza two dr. 140 hp engine with a PG trans. and posi. 45,647miles. Was 45, 525 when purchased from South Baden, Ind. 24 years ago. Garage kept since I purchased it. Has factory air, telescopic steering wheel, remote drivers side mirror, retro fitted am/fm radio with new antenna, new front windshield. New glove box still in the box to be installed and has a tissue box. Side engine bay insulation still in the box, new fuel pump, and plugs. Complete new paint about 12 years ago. The exterior is Chateau Slate with black interior. There were a few small areas of rust which had been removed and repaired. Floor pans are very good. Overall, the body is in excellent condition. The interior is very good condition, but the metal panels above the door sides need repainting or buffing? The mechanical is good but the left bank when running runs a little rough. Runs good when warmed up. Could use some mechanical attention. The Pg trans does leak towards the top, I believe where the shifter linkage is connected. The center interior air condition vent has a crack. Everything else works as should. I added a center console. |
