415OUR 8 BUILDINGSFor 6 years we ran this business out of our house. It was fun, hectic, and sometimes impossible, but somehow we managed! During March of 1979 we moved into our ?rst building. We ?gured this new building would give us room for faster service, larger inventory and more manufacturing. It did for about 6 months! Then we added a short building to the end of the main building and built a 3rd building. In 1983 we built buildings #4 and #5, for a total of 36,000 sq. feet. 1984 saw building #6, 1990 building #7 and 1994 our largest building #8, for a total of over 60,000 sq. feet. Our "solar ?eld" is visible in the upper right.Tour Building #1This is our busiest building and where the majority of new parts are inventoried and orders pulled and packed.Parts, parts, parts. We carry more parts for Corvairs than most parts stores stock for ALL makes of cars. If all our building space was on one ?oor, we'd need a building 100 ft. wide by 600 ft. long.We have 3 shelves full of shop manuals, owners man uals, and assembly manuals and are seldom out of stock of these important books. Over 20 aisles full of parts.
