Installation Service for

Door Panel Nail Strips

We offer our 1960-64 door panels with the nail strips installed. This will save you about 2-3 hours

and you'll be sure of a show quality installa tion. Normally these are in stock and can be shipped

immediately. If we are "out" it could delay the order for these items a couple of days. We ship them with

a piece of styrofoam in-between to protect the nails.

FULL SET = 2 front doors & rear quarter panels or rear doors.

#1) YOU MUST ORDER DOOR PANELS WITH NAIL STRIPS AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD (Monza or

500/700 styles). Include the weight.

#2) YOU MUST ALSO ORDER THE PART NUMBER BELOW FOR INSTALLATION SERVICE (2 DOOR,

CONVT., OR 4-DOOR)

THIS ADDITIONAL PART NUMBER COVERS THE NAIL STRIP INSTALLATION & STYROFOAM (for packing).

Weight is due to size on 2-Door & Convt., when packed as a Full Set. "No weight" means no additional weight.

Over 1,500 nail strip sets installed!

Nail strips are a necessary "evil" of the 1960-64 door panels. If the

originals haven't rusted away then many of the nails have broken off

during removal. Production of these items is a very slow process.

We purchase 8 ft. straight lengths and cut the pieces to exact length

(photo #1). Pieces that have to be bent are hand marked and notched.

The one in photo #2 has 27 notches (placement is critical). The piece

is then bent on jigs and placed on a welding jig. This jig holds the piece

and locates our special nail welding gun which uses nails custom made

to the original specs.
